
Josephine Greenland, born 1995, is a Swedish author currently working as a teacher in Edinburgh. She has a BA in English from the University of Exeter and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham.
Embers is her first novel, and was written during her MA. Her short fiction and poetry has been published in 14 journals online and in print. She was a finalist in the 2020 Literary Taxidermy Competition by Regulus Press, won the 2019 Bumble Bee Flash Fiction Competition by Pulp Literature, won the 2018 Fantastic Female Fables Competition by Fantastic Books Publishing, and was a runner-up in the in the Summer Solstice Competition by Wild Words Press.
When not writing, she enjoys playing her violin or hiking in the mountains.
